BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Responsible for planning, organizing and managing all the activities of production planning, Raw materials and Finish goods store and shipping. Overall inventory control management.-

• Oversee and monitor the systems and practices in the process of production planning, scheduling, and material planning and order fulfilment. ? Coordinate with corresponding departments to optimize resources utilization;
• Coordinate with customer service on schedule commitment, customer special requests and shipment scheduling
• Liaise with production, marketing, engineering and purchasing to coordinate materials management and production planning activities.

• Develop policies and procedures and guidelines for PPC and inventory management functions and assure all related activities are accomplished

• Maintain a running stock of standard usage and special materials to meet the operating needs of the business.
• Supervise and guide the PPC, store, shipping and inventory management team members.
• Focal point between S&M and Operations for cross functional S&OP process
• Capacity management: analyse & monitor capacity constraints, provide support to address it

• Accountable for monthly production plan and weekly MPS;

• Lead process re-engineering and IT system enhancement projects in your area of control;

• Ensure the working procedures are in compliance with the ISO requirements
• Work with other departments and issue OCN for securing on time delivery and quick respond to any production delay

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIE
• Responsible for the overall inventory management activities, deliveries, QTA management and resources optimization.

• Responsible for the overall production planning and demand fulfilment.

• Ensure availability of all raw material in line with customer forecasts

• Manage overall inventory (obsolete materials stock, CS on-hold orders);

• Establish and maintain appropriate systems for performance measurements.

• Monitor and drive overall plant OTD and QTA fulfilment.
• Owns the feasibility of production plan and MPS;

• Monitors SO backlog vs. FC, communicates shipment forecast against monthly plan.

• Addresses and communicates potential risks and issues to meet customer requirements.
• Drives continuous improvement of the Order to Ship Process and IT system enhancement.

• Handle other assigned by superior.

• Lead the GZ plant ‘s PPC, warehouse, stores and shipping, GZ & ZS plant for Master planning.

Education, Qualification and training• Bachelor in any Engineering discipline; MBA will be an advantage.

Experience or skills required
• At least 10 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years at managerial level.
• Speak and write fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Skill in computer operation.

• Forward thinker and a team player;
• Ability to effectively coordinate across functional activities;

Specialised knowledge or skills required
• Familiar with manufacturing systems and exposure to MNC companies

• Familiar with production planning and inventory control systems.
• Knowledgeable on CRP, MRP, JIT concepts
• ERP system knowledge;
• Project Management skills;
• Familiar with China inbound/outbound regulations.
• Team building skills.
• Set aggressive target and drive tactics to achieve the set targets.



Measurement
• Measured according to the KPIs set by the superior(e.g. OTD and inventory turns)
